Payments, Subscriptions & Refund Policy

1. How payments work

All payments — subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view unlocks — are made through M-Pesa. You confirm a payment by entering your M-Pesa PIN on your own phone; FanPoly never sees or stores that PIN.

Amounts are shown and charged in Kenyan Shillings (KES).

2. Subscriptions

Subscribing to a creator gives you access to their subscriber-only content for the period your payment covers. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your subscriptions page; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period — access continues until it ends.

3. Tips and pay-per-view unlocks

Tips are a one-time, voluntary payment to a creator and are not refundable. Pay-per-view unlocks grant permanent access to the specific post they were paid for and are also non-refundable once the content has been delivered, except as set out below.

4. When a refund may be considered

We may issue a refund at our discretion where a payment was duplicated by a technical error, where content was removed for violating our policies shortly after you paid for it, or where required by law. Refund requests can be submitted through our Contact & Support page along with your M-Pesa transaction reference.

5. Chargebacks and disputes

Because M-Pesa payments are confirmed by the payer's own PIN, disputing a payment you authorized without first contacting us is treated as a breach of these Terms and can lead to account suspension.

6. Creator earnings and payouts

A platform commission is deducted automatically from each payment before the remainder is credited to the creator's wallet. Creators can request a withdrawal of their available wallet balance, paid out via M-Pesa to the phone number on their account. Payout requests are reviewed before being marked as paid.
