Copyright Infringement Reporting
Last updated August 30, 2026If you believe content on FanPoly infringes your copyright, this page explains how to submit a report and what we need from you to act on it.
1. Before you report
Please confirm that you are the copyright owner of the work in question, or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, before submitting a report.
2. What to include in your report
To act on a report quickly, please include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- The exact URL(s) or username/post reference on FanPoly where the infringing content appears.
- Your contact information (name and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. How to submit a report
Send your report through our Contact & Support page. Reports missing the information above may take longer to process while we follow up for the details we need.
4. What happens next
We review valid reports and remove or disable access to content that appears to infringe, and may notify the account that posted it. Accounts with repeated, substantiated infringement reports against them are subject to our Account Suspension & Termination Policy.
5. Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through the same Contact & Support page, explaining why the content does not infringe.
